AfterShip Personalization allows you to choose from 7 product recommendation types to improve your sales figures. Check this guide to learn about all of them.
If you want to show items that shoppers often buy together, for example, ordering a screen protector along with a smartphone, this is the type for you.
Note:
Only in-stock items will be considered for recommendations.
If a store visitor has already purchased the products, the most viewed products will be recommended.
If you want to show your top-selling products, this is the type you need to choose. Please note that products that have been sold in the last 30 days will be considered as your best-selling products, and they will be ranked based on their sales volume.
Note:
If some of your top-selling products are not in stock, they won’t be part of the product recommendation widget.
If a store visitor has already purchased top-selling products, the most viewed products will be recommended.
It’s pretty much self-explanatory. You can select this recommendation type if you want to suggest handpicked products to shoppers.
You can select a maximum of 24 active products.
This recommendation type is meant to suggest products you’ve listed on your store recently. Plus, you get customized options to set the product numbers, add specific products, and restrict product ranges.
This recommendation type boosts the probability of selling the same product a shopper has already bought.
You can decide whether you want to recommend the cheapest product or the most expensive one to shoppers.
E.g., if a shopper has added 3 products to the cart, they will see the cheapest or the most expensive product as a recommendation, depending on your settings.
This recommendation type is available for specific pages
If you want to recommend items with similar attributes and tags associated with the primary product(s), like color, price, size, ratings, etc., and have identical functionality, this is the type you should opt for.
E.g., Yellow vase and white vase
If you want to suggest items that are supplementary or compatible with the primary or obtained product(s) when used in conjunction, this product recommendation type is ideal for you.

Note:

2. Best Sellers
If you want to show your top-selling products, this is the type you need to choose. Please note that products that have been sold in the last 30 days will be considered as your best-selling products, and they will be ranked based on their sales volume.

3. Manual selection
