AfterShip Personalization lets you recommend products on your Shopify store to drive more sales, enhance store visitors’ shopping experience, clear the stock of products low in demand, and much more.

|| For new users, please note that the recommendation widget will function properly after 1-2 hrs. The time is required to get the required data for recommending products.

| Make sure you have installed AfterShip Personalization from the Shopify app store. Check this guide to know the steps you need to follow.

Go to your Shopify admin and find AfterShip Personalization in the Apps section. Click it and take care of the recommendation settings:

Offer title: Give your offer a suitable title. Be careful while adding the title because it will be shown to your store visitors.
Status: Change the status from Disabled to Enabled.

In the Product settings, please take care of these 3 things:

1) Recommendation type: By default, we show products bought together frequently on the cart page. For example, an iPhone case will be recommended if a shopper adds an iPhone to the cart.

Overview

AfterShip Personalization allows you to choose from 7 product recommendation types to improve your sales figures. Check this guide to learn about all of them.

1. Frequently Bought Together

If you want to show items that shoppers buy together, for example, ordering a screen protector along with a smartphone, this is the type for you.

Note:

Only in-stock items will be considered for recommendations.
If a store visitor has already purchased the products, the most viewed products will be recommended.

2. Best Sellers

If you want to show your top-selling products, this is the type you need to choose. Please note that products that have been sold in the last 30 days will be considered your best-selling products, and they will be ranked based on their sales volume.

**Note: **

If some of your top-selling products are not in stock, they won’t be part of the product recommendation widget.
If a store visitor has already purchased top-selling products, the most viewed products will be recommended.

3. Manual selection

It’s pretty much self-explanatory. You can select this recommendation type if you want to suggest handpicked products to shoppers.

4. New Arrivals

This recommendation type is meant to suggest products you’ve listed on your store recently. Plus, you get customized options to set the product numbers, add specific products, and restrict product
